Architecture

lines and curves

Buildings are more than brick, stone, glass and steel - they have a character and personality of their own, which must be recognised and felt in order to do justice to capturing them in camera. Just as a portrait photographer must develop a rapport with the sitter, so must the architectural photographer have a rapport with structure.

Conveying a three dimensional object in two dimensions relies on an understanding of how light enhances form and the way in which straight lines and curves interact to form beautiful balanced compositions.

SteelOrchid architectural photographs have harmony, balance and structure. Shooting digitally, we can correct for verticals and control the colour temperature of our shots, both overall and locally, to achieve the look that you want.

Our reasonable rates are covered on the commercial page and we look forward to hearing from you to discuss your specific requirements....or please contact us to request our CD portfolio.
